Elroy was surrendered when his family realized that they just weren’t in a position to care for a dog. A house full of children and no time for Elroy wasn’t a good mix and Elroy was starting to react.

Elroy is just a big goofy and energetic 17 month old blue frenchie (we believe he may have some English bulldog in him as he is big and has some character traits typical of English bulldogs) who needs someone who will dedicate time and attention to him. He does listen very well, but he does need to be taught some manners. Elroy LOVES people and does show some separation anxiety when he can't be in the same room as his person, so a home where someone is home more often than not would be ideal. He is fine with female dogs, though he does lack manners, and tends to want to hump the dogs that he meets. Hopefully once he is neutered that behaviour will subside. Elroy should be the only male dog in his home. Though he can be fine with male dogs, he can also be unpredictable and will start a fight with very little warning so he will not be placed in a home with other male dogs.
