This adorable 2 year old girl is Georgia-Mae!
Georgia-Mae is a sweet, well behaved 21 pound dynamo who was lovingly surrendered after her family came to the realization that as amazing as she is with men, women, kids, cats and dogs (outside of the home), Georgia-Mae just isn't made to live with another dog in her home. This decision wasn't made lightly. They have worked diligently with trainers for over a year and it's just not meant to be. Georgia-Mae wants to be an only dog! She has been fine for long periods of time with another dog in the house but will randomly and unpredictably attack with little warning.
You can't be fooled by how great she does with other dogs outside the home. At doggy daycare, at relatives or friends homes where there are other dogs, no problem! In her home is a different and unpredictable story! She lost her eye in one of these random attacks so it's important that her future family understands that she will always have to be the only dog. She is perfectly fine with cats though!
We are looking for a foster to adopt home for this princess. When you foster to adopt we cover her medical bills until we finalize the adoption. It's also a good opportunity to make sure the dog is a good fit for your family.
Georgia Mae is sweet and affectionate. She is great with cats and kids. She is crate trained and house trained. She does need some work on her leash training as she does tend to pull.
Georgia Mae has a sensitive stomach but does great if you stick to her hydrolyzed protein prescription food and hypo-allergenic treats. No table scraps for this girl.
