This 4 year old handsome boy really wants to be a good boy but his anxiety can get the best of him. He is very anxious around new people and can be unpredictable. So far he hasn't bitten anyone and we hope to keep it that way! We have started him on some anti-anxiety medication to see if it helps his wee brain remain calm enough to make good choices that we know he really wants to make!

We think Ralphie would do amazing in a quiet home where he is either the only dog or there is another calm dog who will mostly ignore Ralphie. Because of his anxiety Ralphie will not be placed in a home with children. He is great around cats & chickens though! Because of his stranger danger fears a home where there are not a lot of visitors coming and going would be best. Ralphie also has separation anxiety so we will be looking for a home with an experienced dog owner who is home more often than not. Ralphie has been let down by humans in the past, he really deserves someone who will be dedicated to making him feel safe in their world.

Other than his anxiety Ralphie is a healthy guy who just had his vet visit. He loves playing fetch and would probably enjoy some agility training! He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

We will keep you posted on how he does with his new medication. His meds cost about $60 a month.
