This adorable boy was tearfully surrendered when his family circumstances changed drastically. Wanting only the best for this bestest boy, his family asked us to find him his perfect home.
This soon to be 6 year old little man did have an ear infection when we got him but with medication it has cleared up nicely. His vaccines were updated but the vet recommends that he get a booster of the core vaccines in one month since he was quite overdue. Other than some allergies that are well controlled with a hypoallergenic diet, regular bi-weekly baths and a cytopoint injection every 8 weeks (depending on where you live the injection can cost anywhere between $75 and $110), Bowie is in great shape!
Personality-wise he is pretty perfect! Sweet and happy! Playful and comical! All the things we love about French bulldogs! He is great with men, women, children, dogs. He is curious about cats and will chase them but not in a threatening way. Bowie can be left alone but he would prefer a home where someone is home more often than not. He would make an awesome office dog or work from home buddy! He loves his daily walks and just wants attention and someone who has time to dote on him!

We do allow out of town/province adoptions (within Eastern Canada and some eastern US states) as long as you are able to pick the dog up. We do not ship dogs.
If you applied within the last 12 months to adopt a dog from us you don't need to reapply but you do need to send us an email explaining why you think Bowie is a good fit for your family. Email ecfbrescue@gmail.com ONLY if you applied for another dog in the last 12 months and you want to be considered for Bowie.
