UPDATE December 28, 2022 NEWMAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
UPDATE DECEMBER 21, 2022 NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
December 3, 2022 the day Newman broke the internet!
This gorgeous boy is finally ready to find his forever home!
Newman ended up in rescue when a first time dog owner discovered that he and his roommate were horribly allergic to dogs!
Newman is a healthy happy 10 1/2 month old Frenchie-Boston Terrier mix, a 'Frenchton'. He is full of puppy energy and curiosity! He's a squirrel and chipmunk chaser so probably not suited for a home with cats or other small pets such as rabbits. While he is goofy and energetic he is also sweet and gentle so he could do well in a home with dog savvy and respectful children over 8. Newman has already completed one series of puppy classes while in our care and we highly recommend that his forever family continue obedience classes with Newman as he still gets overly excited when he sees other dogs and he still needs to work on his leash skills. Newman can be a little timid in new situations so we are looking for a gentle and patient family for him. He would probably do fine in a home with a well trained friendly dog but he will also thrive as an only pet. He is a funny and charming cuddle bug who loves to be with his people so a home where someone is home more often than not would be ideal. He is crate trained and house trained. We think he's pretty perfect!
